Shallow Waters by David Angel Perfect sunny afternoon Turned the corner, almost swooned Proudly prancing down the walk A gorgeous black and silver dog Never saw a Husky Far bigger than a Malamute Slowed down and my eyes were glued on lupine eyes, brown and blue It wasn't till I passed on by Dawned on me, I realized A woman walking by his side She couldn't even catch my eye The sad thing is that I know why I understand my kind of guy Tending to objectify pretty girls who stroll on by In the periphery of my visual field Saw she was an average girl Her dog was better lookin' So I let her keep on truckin' Didn't have the decency to smile or wave or nod or wink or do a single blessed thing to treat her like a human being Copyright ©️ 2024, David Angel, All Rights Reserved

Well, at the risk of seeming anti-feminist, I’m not sure you were entirely in the wrong here. The dog was stunning. Seeing this breed live for the first time an amazing novelty. Being captivated by visually stunning people, places, things, is not within most people’s wheelhouse to control. There. 🤣🤣🥰🥰
