Angel - Didn't say you were, hon! I was trying to convey how thoughtless use of political labels apply to us and - NVM - I was just having pretty much the same conversation elsewhere. But the irony is she is the most conservative person I know by a long shot and always has been. So people who don’t know better would say I’m a conservative because I like Trump and that she’s a liberal because she doesn’t but if we had to fit into those shoeboxes, it’s really quite the reverse. People are very confused. In my mind, today’s conservatives are the true liberals, at least in comparison to the illiberal left which thinks it is liberal but is not because the radical (horseshoe) left disdains conventional liberal values.
